DJ Dykes

DJ Dykes records commercial, corporate‑video and documentary work from a treated home studio in South Korea. He delivers a Young Adult voice that can cover both baritone and tenor ranges, and his recent portfolio includes projects for Amazon, EA Sports, Kellogg’s, Walmart and Pfizer. DJ Dykes has also provided telephone/IVR recordings for brands such as Verizon and Circle K, and his e‑learning and explainer‑video samples demonstrate a clear, adaptable delivery. His acting background includes training in the Meisner Technique at the Houde School of Acting, and he has received commercial coaching from Mary Lynn Wissner, Tanya Buchanan, Marc Cashman and Bill Dewees, as well as corporate narration guidance from J. Michael Collins and promo direction from Donovan Corneetz and Joyce Castellanos. In the studio he uses a Sennheiser MKH416 microphone, monitors with Sennheiser HD 280 Pro headphones, records through a Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen interface, and edits on a 16‑inch MacBook Pro equipped with a 2.6 GHz 6‑core Intel i7 processor.
