Fernando Simón records from a treated home studio in Spain, using a Neumann TLM 103 and a Rode NT2, and also has access to a Previo Focusrite ISA One. He trained at the Escuela de doblaje de Madrid, the Escuela José Padilla and Soundub, giving him a solid foundation in dubbing and voice‑over techniques. His bass and baritone timbres suit a wide age range, from young adult to senior characters, and he works primarily in Spanish (Spain). Fernando’s recent work includes commercial spots for Voltadol, corporate videos for IBM and Miele, audiobook narration for Audible, and dubbing for Amazon Prime Video, HBO and Netflix. He has also provided voice‑over for Banco Santander, Ecoembes, Estrella Galicia, Mediaset España, Telecinco and Storitell, covering formats such as commercials, corporate videos, e‑learning modules and video‑game narration. In addition to narration, he records jingles, telephone/IVR prompts and museum guide audio. His current setup combines the Neumann TLM 103 with a Focusrite ISA One, enabling professional‑grade recordings for a variety of media productions.
