Garth Collins

Garth Collins records from a home studio in Canada and also works with Audio Technica 40‑series and Apex 460 & Sennheiser E‑Series microphones, using software that includes WaveLab and Pro Tools. He began his career as a radio newscaster and co‑host before moving into regional and national broadcasting, and he now provides voice‑over services for clients in more than fifty countries. His voice covers young adult, middle‑age and senior characters, and he can perform in bass, baritone and tenor ranges. Garth’s recent work includes commercial, corporate‑video and documentary narration for brands such as Panasonic, Xerox, BMW, Microsoft, ESPN and Paramount Pictures, as well as voice‑over for movie trailers, video‑games and IVR systems. He has also narrated for political and humanitarian campaigns, the 2004 and 2016 U.S. presidential elections, and the Primetime Emmy Awards. Garth’s training includes extensive broadcasting experience and featured narration at the Primetime Emmy Awards and the National Association of Television Program Executives. His studio setup features an AT4047/SV cardioid condenser microphone with shock mount and a M‑Audio USB Duo pre‑amp.
