Heike Hagen

Heike Hagen records in German from her treated home studio, equipped with a Brauner Valvet X microphone, a Studiobox professional cabin and cinema‑grade conversion and monitoring gear. She studied jazz singing and acting in Cologne, completed Communications training at the Bavarian Academy for Communications, and earned degrees in Media Studies and Psychology at the University of Cologne. Since 2004 she has been the station voice of public cultural broadcaster WDR 5, and her narration appears in more than 70,000 minutes of television documentaries for ARTE, ZDF, VOX, RTL and the Pro 7 Sat 1 Group. Hagen also provides dubbing for series and films such as *Homeland* and *Thor*, and she voices characters in video‑games including *Assassin’s Creed* and *The Division*. Her recent commercial work includes a medley of TV spots, while her telephone‑prompt recordings have been used for a range of IVR applications, and she narrated a documentary for NDR Television.
