Maaike Boorsma

Maaike Boorsma records from a home studio in the Netherlands, using sE Electronics microphones and an Audient iD4 interface with Apple Pro software. She combines an alto‑to‑soprano range with a clear, warm and friendly tone that she describes as ABN—standard Dutch without accent. Her voice work spans teenage to middle‑age characters, and she draws on two years of acting training at a Dutch theatre school. Maaike’s recent commercial deliveries include campaigns for Dinnerly, Spotify and Finodex, the latter also featuring corporate‑video, telephone/IVR and explainer‑video formats. Museum guide recordings for the Chester Beatty Museum in Dublin and the Naturkunde Museum in Münster sit alongside brand work for Adidas, Amazon, Mercedes‑Benz, Reebok, SONOS and Vodafone. She also provides voice‑over for e‑learning, documentary and jingle projects, and has contributed to the Marbotic app and Fage Total Yoghurt. Her studio setup enables remote sessions, and she continues to apply her acting background to deliver versatile performances across a range of Dutch‑language productions.
