Maggi Mayfield records from a treated home studio in the United States, using a Shure SM7b microphone and an Audient ID4 interface. She completed formal acting and singing training at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York and later worked at the Academy of Radio Broadcasting, giving her a foundation in performance and broadcast techniques.
