Marcos Fernandes records from a home studio in Portugal equipped with a Neumann TLM 103 microphone, a Neve 1073SPX pre‑amp and an Apogee Duet 2 interface. He holds a degree in Media from the University of Lisbon, completed a voice‑over class at CENJOR school and attended dubbing workshops with ACT ‑ Escola de Actores and J3D Gestão Artística, all in Lisbon. His voice spans young adult to senior ages and covers bass, baritone and tenor ranges, which he applies to commercial spots, corporate‑video narration, cartoon characters, explainer tutorials and museum‑guide audioguides. Recent work includes TV commercials for Adidas, BMW and Vodafone, an internet video narration for Cisco, a cartoon character spot for PlayStation and an explainer tutorial for Sage, as well as museum‑guide recordings for several institutions. Marcos’s portfolio also features corporate‑video projects for HP and Land Rover, e‑learning modules for Fluke and a range of IVR recordings. His studio setup remains fully operational for remote sessions.
