Masaya Okubo

Masaya Okubo records a wide range of Japanese voice‑over work from his home studio in the United States, using a Rode NT1A microphone and a MOTU M2 audio interface. He delivers baritone and tenor tones that suit young adult, middle‑age and senior characters, and his portfolio includes narration for audiobooks, e‑learning modules, corporate videos, documentaries, museum guides and telephone/IVR systems. His recent commercial and dubbing assignments feature Japanese language tracks for major brands such as Amazon, Audi, Google, Gucci, Netflix and SteelSeries, as well as narration for Swiss Airline projects. In animation, he provides the voices for all male characters except the lead boy in the American cartoon “Caillou,” performing roles such as Daddy and Leo.
