Megumi Sakamoto

Megumi Sakamoto records from a home studio in Japan and also has access to a Focusrite Scarlett Solo G3 audio interface for additional sessions. She uses a Lewitt LCT240 microphone and edits with iZotope RX 8 Standard, allowing her to deliver clean recordings for a range of productions. Her voice covers child through senior ages and spans baritone, tenor, alto and mezzo‑soprano ranges, making her suitable for both male‑coded and female‑coded parts. Megumi’s recent portfolio highlights e‑learning modules and telephone/IVR scripts, and she also works on audioguides, corporate videos, documentaries, museum guides and commercial spots. She completed the Announcement Schools in Japan program and the Voiceover Japan Narration Course, and she brings theatrical experience from work with Japanese theater companies. Megumi’s bilingual background in German and Japanese supports projects that require authentic delivery in either language.
