About Moi Sai
Moi Sai, known professionally as Moichi Saito, records in Japanese from a home studio equipped with a Neumann U87Ai and remote access to an RME FireFace UCX. His baritone voice serves middle‑age and senior‑type characters in corporate videos, commercials, museum guides, documentaries and e‑learning modules. Recent projects include recordings for ISUZU, Mercedes‑Benz, Nissan, Rolex, SUNTORY, Tokyo National Museum and Toyota, delivered in formats ranging from broadcast spots to on‑site guide narration.
Before entering voice‑over work, Moi Sai performed with Japan’s only theatre company dedicated to the complete works of Shakespeare, where he honed line delivery, monologue technique and on‑stage presence. He later moved into broadcasting, expanding his expressive range for audio media, and studied under several of the era’s leading voice actors, emphasizing authentic performance. His current practice continues to draw on that theatrical and broadcast background, providing nuanced, character‑rich narration for a variety of media productions.

Training
Although I can only speak Japanese, I am an admirer of Shakespeare's work. I was an actor in the only theatre company in Japan specialising in performing the complete works of Shakespeare, where I learnt lines, monologues, acting and onstage skills. Many exponents of that theatre company are present in the Japanese entertainment industry. I later entered the broadcasting industry and developed my expressive skills for broadcast.
I studied under some of the best voice actors of the time and thoroughly learnt the importance of being yourself, which I continue to do today.
